MarineSitu mini-AMP Four Month Deployment at PNNL-Sequim
From 07/01/2024 until 10/28/2024 Pacific Northwest National Lab (PNNL) supported the first long-term deployment and demonstration of MarineSitu?s mini-Adaptable Monitoring Package (mini-AMP). The mini-AMP was deployed off the the pier at PNNL-Sequim and located at approximately (48.07927511737134, -123.04503324627582) facing North-Northeast. The mini-AMP contained two grayscale cameras with integrated wipers, a Luxonis OAK-D stereo camera, a Tritech Gemini 1200ik multibeam sonar, and a LED illumination system. Data from each sensor were saved at roughly 1 Hz throughout this 4 month deployment. This is the dataset collected from this deployment.
The dataset is uploaded as .tar.zst (ZStandard compression) files. Each file contains one month of data from the deployment. Each of these files range from roughly 2TB to 3TB in size.
After unpacking these .tar.zst files, the file structure looks like the below. There is a folder for each day. Inside each day is a folder for every 10 minutes of data. Inside each 10-minute folder are folders for each of the sensors that was recording during that time. Below this is an "images" folder, and inside this "images" folder are individual .jpg image files. All sensors saved .jpg files.
