Hydrodynamic Metrics for Tidal Energy Resource and Load Characterization in Cook Inlet, Alaska

In progress License

This submission provides hydrodynamic metrics for Cook Inlet, Alaska, derived from a validated FVCOM hindcast using a vertically resolved, multi-metric framework for tidal energy resource and load characterization. The netCDF4 dataset includes metrics describing flow directionality, velocity, persistence, power density, load density, vertical shear, and veer across near-surface, intermediate, near-bed, and full-depth zones. Supporting documentation includes a README file and the associated manuscript describing the methodology, validation, and applications of the dataset.
